The Orchid Lodge Samui is a small boutique bed & breakfast that offers tropical-inspired accommodations in a relaxed nature-filled setting where we give our guests a truly personalized experience. The Retreats at Orchid Lodge are specially designed retreat programs for women of all ages and backgrounds seeking to explore faith, to grow spiritually, to experience community, and to heal from pain, grief, trauma, burnout, and other struggles.

My name is Kristin, and I am a Christian woman from the United States. I am seeking a trusted female assistant to work with me on all things related to the business. This position will be a terrific hands-on opportunity for someone who is highly-motivated, eager to learn, creative, energized by new ideas, able to get things done, and who is interested in playing a key role in an exciting start-up business that provides memorable and life-changing experiences for women who are overcoming personal difficulties.

This position is not a typical hotel or office job. You will be interacting very closely with me on all matters related to the business and property, and you will play an integral role in helping me to run the property, to design the retreats, to serve our guests, and to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Orchid Lodge Samui. This is a one-of-a-kind and exciting position, and I will give you a lot of input in shaping the position to best fit your strengths and interests.

I am especially interested in female candidates who come from a hospitality or villa management background, have a passion for women’s health and wellness, have a customer service mindset, and who are flexible, adaptable, and willing to work across various tasks and functions. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Thai nationality & fluency in Thai language
– Able to communicate effectively in English (speaking and writing)
– Strong administrative skills, organized, detail-oriented, can multitask effectively
– Highly-motivated, proactive, strong work ethic, team player
– Spirit of excellence, positive attitude, friendly, clever, and creative

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Christian faith (or have interest in the teachings of Jesus and the Bible)
– Background in hotel/villa/ property management or guest relations
– Experience with recruiting, hiring, and managing staff
– Familiarity with Canva or other design software
– Knowledge and understanding of social media / able to create, design, and post content
– Have driving license / able to drive a car
– Other skills/talents/abilities that may be useful to the business or the retreats (cooking, baking, serving meals, creating beautiful food or flower displays, housekeeping knowledge, etc.)
