The brand was founded in Bali in 1978 after Paul Ropp himself moved to Indonesia from India where he had been living for 7 years. The concept of using hand craft is to make sure that each and one of our fabrics are individual and not copied so that even though sometimes the colors might be the same, the pattern will always be different. Our fabric are being hand woven and hand dyed by 5,000 employees in Gao, India
