Swimming Assistant Teacher

Location: Phuket, Thailand
School: Oak Meadow International School

We are seeking a Swimming Assistant Teacher (preferred Thai nationality) to support swimming lessons and activities for students in an international school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Swimming Teacher with swimming lessons for students of different ages and abilities.
Help ensure students’ safety and well-being in and around the pool.
Support students with swimming techniques, confidence, and water safety skills.
Prepare and maintain swimming equipment and the pool area.
Encourage students and create a positive, safe, and enjoyable learning environment.

Requirements:

Certification: Possession of a valid swimming instruction/coach, lifeguard, or other relevant aquatic safety certification is required
Thai nationality with good communication skills (preferred)
Previous experience working with children (Thai and foreign), preferably in swimming, sports, or education.
Strong swimming ability and a responsible approach to pool safety.
Friendly, patient, energetic, and reliable.
First Aid/CPR or relevant swimming qualifications are an advantage.
Basic English communication skills are preferred.
