Mandarin Teacher (with Expertise in Active Learning)

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and delivery creative Mandrin language lessons that actively engage students through experiential learning techniques, such as role-playing, interactive storytelling, games and cultural activities.
- Use real-life scenarios, project-based learning and hands-on activities to enhance students’ comprehension and language application skills.
- Foster an in immersive classroom environment where students are encouraged to practice speaking, listening, reading and writing Mandarin in meaningful contexts.
- Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessment methods.
- Promote cultural awareness methods and events that connect language learning to Chinese culture and traditional.


Requirements:
- Proficiency in Mandarin (native or near-native fluency)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin, Chinese Language. Studies, Education or related field.
- Two or more years of teaching experience at the primary school level (preferred) using active learning or project-based strategies.
- Experience preparing students for HSK Exams.
- Able to handle children in small, mixed ages classes.
- Teaching certification or relevant qualifications.
- Adaptability to remote work in nature-based environment.
