The Thai School Director will play a vital leadership role in the establishment and successful operation of Glenalmond Phuket International School, a premium British international school developed in partnership with Glenalmond College, Scotland. As a founding member of the leadership team, the Thai School Director will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all Thai Ministry of Education (MOE) and Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC) requirements, maintaining the highest academic and operational standards, and fostering a school culture that harmoniously blends Thai values with the traditions of British education.

This position requires a visionary, experienced leader who is passionate about education, strategically minded, and capable of guiding a world-class school through its pre-opening and operational phases.

*Essential Skills and Experience

Education:
- Master’s degree or higher in Education, Educational Administration, or related field (required).
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed by the Teachers Council of Thailand (คุรุสภา).

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in school leadership and in a principal or senior administrative role.
- Proven success in working with Thai educational authorities and managing school licensing and compliance.
- Experience in international school environments is highly preferred.

Skills and Competencies:
- Deep understanding of Thai education law, licensing frameworks, and MOE/OPEC regulations.
- Strong bilingual communication in Thai and English.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- High cultural awareness and ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills, particularly in pre-opening environments.
