Position : Receptionist / Hostess / VIP Guest Relations

Job Detail
A sauna spa receptionist/hostess is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a welcoming and tranquil environment while managing front desk operations, appointments, and guest inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Services: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, provide tours of the facilities (sauna, steam room, lounge areas, etc.), and ensure a pleasant experience from check-in to check-out.

Reservations & Scheduling: Manage appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling of spa and sauna services efficiently using booking software.

Coordinate with therapists and other staff to maintain a smooth daily operation.

Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle in-person inquiries professionally and courteously. Communicate relevant guest information or concerns to management and other team members.

Sales & Promotion: Provide detailed information about services, packages, and current promotions.

Actively promote and upsell retail products and additional therapies based on guest needs and goals.

Financial Transactions: Process payments for services and retail products, including cash and credit transactions. Ensure all financial reporting and cash handling procedures are followed accurately.

Facility Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and serene atmosphere of the
reception area, lobby, and other public areas.

Monitor and stock supplies and amenities as needed.

Problem Resolution: Address guest questions and concerns professionally and promptly, working to resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or spa environment is often preferred.

Customer Service Excellence: A friendly, professional, and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication in ENGLISH, listening, and interpersonal skills.

Organization & Multitasking: Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Proficiency: Competence in using computer software, including Microsoft Office and spa management or scheduling software.

Availability: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
