Position : QS Engineer (Quantity Surveyor Engineer)
- Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and feasibility studies
- Tendering & Procurement: Analyze bids, prepare tender documents, and evaluate contractors
- Contract Administration: Manage contracts, variations, claims, and payments
- Cost Control: Track project costs vs. budget and forecast final accounts
- Progress Valuation: Measure work done and certify interim/final payments
- Risk Management: Identify cost risks and propose mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Experience in construction projects (residential, commercial, infrastructure)
- Familiarity with drawings, specifications, and local construction standards
Skills & Tools
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, cost-estimating software, and project management tools
- Good negotiation, communication, and documentation skills
