Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Deliver monthly P&L reports by the 5th of each month; prepare monthly account reconciliations, taxation reports, and departmental reconciliations (F&B, Spa, Fitness)
• Produce and review entertainment & voids reports, duty meals reports, F&B spoilage reports, slow-moving items reports, and damaged/write-off reports on a monthly cycle
• Conduct variance analysis comparing actual financial performance against budget, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions
• Prepare and manage the annual outsourced financial audit, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and reviewed ahead of the audit period
• Create financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making by the leadership team
Cash Flow Management
• Monitor and manage cash flow operations to ensure the property maintains sufficient liquidity to meet all obligations
• Deliver weekly cash flow reports and perform intercompany transfers as directed by the Group Financial Controller
• Implement strategies to optimize working capital efficiency across the property
Compliance & Internal Controls
• Ensure full compliance with local and domestic financial regulations, tax requirements, and company accounting policies in accordance with Thai accounting standards
• Develop, implement, and enforce internal control procedures to safeguard property assets, prevent fraud, and ensure financial accuracy
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits; ensure findings are addressed promptly and thoroughly
• Conduct periodic internal audits (bar par stock spot checks, cash float spot checks) to verify control effectiveness
Cost Control & Procurement Oversight
• Analyze and monitor expenditures across all departments; implement strategies to control costs and improve financial performance
• Track vendor rejection rates and costs at the receiving level; oversee the selling of write-off and recycled items
• Ensure General Store min/max stock levels are maintained and that purchase requisitions are issued promptly when minimum thresholds are reached
• Ensure the Receiving Department adheres to all internal procedures and documentation standards
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting and finance team; conduct regular department meetings and individual check-ins
• Work closely with department heads to provide financial guidance, control departmental spending, and support data-driven operational decisions
• Participate in the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process in collaboration with the General Manager and Group Financial Controller


Qualifications
Experience
• 5+ years in a financial controller or senior accounting role, with at least 2 years in hospitality, hotel, or resort operations strongly preferred
• Proven track record managing full-cycle accounting: GL, AP, AR, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination
• Hands-on experience with hotel property management systems (e.g., Comanche, OPERA, Protel) and back-office accounting systems (e.g., Comanche, Sun, SAP, Sage, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated success implementing or strengthening internal controls in a multi-department environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or Chartered Accountant qualification is a significant advantage

Salary: Negotiable
