Position : HR Officer
Job Detail
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our team in Phuket. In this role, you will be the backbone of our human resources operations — managing employee records, supporting staff through every stage of their employment journey, and ensuring full compliance with Thai labor law requirements. You will work closely with management and relevant government departments to maintain a well-organized, legally compliant, and people-first workplace.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and update accurate employee records, contracts, and personal files
• Administer the leave management system, tracking annual leave, sick leave, and other absences
• Coordinate and facilitate onboarding of new employees, ensuring a smooth first-day experience
• Manage offboarding procedures including clearance, exit documentation, and final settlements
• Handle termination processes in full compliance with Thai Labor Protection Act requirements
• Create, maintain, and regularly update the company employee handbook
• Prepare employment contracts and regularly maintain template
• Liaise with relevant government departments including the Department of Labor Protection and Welfare, Social Security Office, and other HRM-related agencies
• Ensure company HR practices meet all standards required by the Labor Department and proactively maintain those standards
• Post job openings across relevant platforms and conduct initial pre-screening of candidates before presenting shortlists to management for interview
• Meet up with Phuket back office team weekly to discuss back office relations
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, ideally within a Thai work environment
• Good working knowledge of Thai labor law and Social Security regulations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Thai; good English communication skills are an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Positive, proactive, self-starter, able to work independent and be a team player
