Director of People & Culture
Location: The Lamai Samui, Koh Samui, Thailand

The Role
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Director of People & Culture to lead our HR, training, and security operations through an exciting phase of growth. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive our talent strategy, oversee the security department and outsourced guard workforce, manage the team member village, and spearhead major strategic milestones—including massive property recruitment, a new HRIS implementation, and policy rollouts.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR & Operations: Oversee all People & Culture and Training SOPs, ensuring alignment with property goals and head office directives.

Security & Outsourced Management: Lead the on-site Security Department, managing relationships, performance, and compliance with our outsourced security guard agency.

Talent Acquisition & Expansion: Drive massive-scale recruitment campaigns for our upcoming new operational phase.

Systems & Policy Implementation: Successfully roll out a new HRIS platform and updated property policies.

Team Member Experience & Village: Ensure the Team Member Village is well-organized, safe, and provides a high-quality living/working environment, supported by engaging team member activities and wellness initiatives.

Budget & Administration: Manage the department budget, transition frameworks, and ad-hoc strategic projects requested by Head Office and the General Manager.

What We Look For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven leadership experience as a Director or Senior Manager of HR/People & Culture, ideally within the hospitality or resort industry.

Direct experience overseeing security operations and managing outsourced vendor contracts.

Demonstrated success handling large-scale recruitment drives, HRIS implementations, and change management/transition frameworks.

Strong budgeting, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Excellent communication skills in English; ability to navigate corporate directives while addressing property-level needs with agility.
