Job Detail
Head Chef (urgently required)
- Thai Nationality is preferred
- Salary range 45'000-60'000 based on skills and experience.
- Proficiency in English is a plus; moderate English understanding is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in Menu Planning and Recipe Development, and cost control.
Develop special menus for festivities and celebrations.
Collaborate with management to constantly adapt the offering to the guests’ needs.
2. Oversee Food Preparation and Cooking
Supervise and assist with food preparation in the kitchen to guarantee product quality and consistency but also to ensure orders are timely delivered.
Coordinate the team to maximise efficiency during regular service times and during special functions
3. Maintain Consistency and Quality Control through regular testing and training
4. Supervise and Manage Kitchen Staff, Kitchen schedules and Workflow
5. Ensure Food Safety and Cleanliness
6. Assist in Inventory and Stock Management
Oversee the daily reorders and ensure no fresh ingredient is out of stock (or overstocked).
Monitor ingredient cost and ensure the price/quality balance of our culinary proposition is always within parameters
7. Handle Special Dietary Requests and Customer Preferences
8. Monitor the status of all kitchen equipment ensuring that it is:
Properly cleaned and stored at all times
Properly used according to scenarios (ex. halal equipment only used for halal food)
Working properly and not presenting damages. If that is the case, report
any malfunctioning or broken equipment to the Resort Manager
