Join Our Team at Lost Horizon Resort
Lost Horizon Resort, the newest member of Our Jungle Group, opens at the end of this year with 20 private villas and a central clubhouse.

We are looking for a hands-on Head Cook (Thai national) to lead the pre-opening kitchen setup and daily culinary operations of our Clubhouse Restaurant

Key Responsibilities
Pre-Opening Setup
• Establish the kitchen operation: workflow, storage, and hygiene systems.
• Participate in installation checks
• Develop initial menus with input from the Resort Manager and Operations team (focus on local, fresh, and simple dishes aligned with our concept).
• Source and liaise with local food suppliers and set up delivery schedules.
• Implement food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards from day one.
Operational Leadership
• Lead daily kitchen operations for the restaurant
• Supervise a small team of cooks; train them in preparation, hygiene, and service standards.
• Control kitchen costs, portion sizes, and minimize waste.
• Maintain high food quality and presentation standards.
• Support occasional resort events, BBQs, and private dinners.

What We’re Looking For
• Thai national with 3–5 years’ kitchen experience.
• Previous role as Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a medium sized operation
• Strong knowledge of Thai and international cuisine basics.
• Hands-on, practical, and solution-oriented personality.
• Ability to support setting up the kitchen operation
• Good teamwork and communication skills; basic English preferred.
• High standards in cleanliness and food safety.
