Job Detail

Responsible for overall cleanliness of the hotel, including guest
rooms, and public area. Ensuring guests are satisfied with hotel
cleanliness, safety and security of rooms
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational:
 Monitors appliances, furniture, room supplies and general appearance of rooms to
ensure all is up to hotel standards.
 Monitors inventory of all housekeeping supplies ensuring that staff has the necessary
supplies available to perform their assignments.
 Receives and confirms deliveries of supplies and services.
 Prepares and follows up on incidents and accident reports.
 Monitors guest complaints and takes corrective action when necessary.
 Prepares and reviews daily housekeeping report.
 Leads room heavy cleaning maintenance program.
 Ensures that daily V.I.P rooms, special guest rooms, long stay guest rooms for
arrivals are checked in advance and welcome amenities are set up
 Works with Front Office and Engineering Department to ensure that rooms are
blocked for maintenance
 Maintains keys control and-lost and-found procedures, ensuring employee is trained
to follow its procedure.
 Makes daily inspection of public areas, guest floors, and guest rooms to ensure
cleanliness and the maintenance of premises.
 Ensures that guest history records are up to date at all times.
