Deputy School Director
Location: Phuket, Thailand
Start Date: 1 August 2026

HeadStart International School (City Campus) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Deputy School Director to lead the Thai curriculum and oversee the Thai teaching team. The successful candidate will ensure high standards of teaching and learning, foster strong community engagement, and support alignment between Thai and international educational practices.

This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the Thai education system within an international school context, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both Thai and expatriate staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the implementation of the Thai curriculum for Foundation & Primary
Supervise, mentor, and develop the Thai teaching team to ensure high-quality instruction
- Monitor student progress and ensure academic standards are consistently met
Strengthen communication and engagement with parents and the wider school community
Collaborate closely with the School Director and international leadership team
- Ensure compliance with Thai educational regulations and standards
Support school development initiatives, policies, and strategic planning

Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education
Valid Thai Teaching License
- Proven experience in an international school environment
- Strong English communication skills (TOEIC score of 800 or above)
- In-depth knowledge of Thai curriculum management and teacher development
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with Thai and international staff
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate a Thai department team.
- Available to commence employment on 1 August 2026

Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly salary: 70,000 THB
- Housing allowance: 10,000 THB per month
- Completion bonus: Equivalent to two months’ salary upon successful completion of a two-year contract

- 11 weeks of paid annual leave
