Project Construction Coordinator

Our Jungle Resorts - Khao Sok, Thailand
Our Jungle Resorts in Khao Sok is looking for a local Thai Development Supervisor with strong intercultural skills to work in the local Khao Sok and Ban Sapanh Tao areas in Surat Thani province.

The candidate will need to communicate effectively between local onsite staff, offsite Thai and foreign consultants as well as contractors. The main task of the Development Supervisor is to oversee and verify quality implementation of all gardening, landscaping and construction matters for a new Resort Development Project.

The candidate is required to move or be based in Khao Sok or its immediate surroundings, and needs to be able to work independently with the onsite team. Additional assignments will include gathering and communicating information, general progress reporting as well as supporting the local team through procurement trips to Ban Takhun, Surat Thani and Takupa.

Required Skills and Competencies
● Based or willing to move to Khao Sok / Phanom Area
● Driving Licence, (own transport required either car or motorbike)
● Thai local, with English language skills
● Interest and/or experience in Gardening, Landscaping and general Construction.
● Diligent communicator to bridge the gap between all involved parties

Job Responsibilities
● Hire and supervise local onsite team
● Communicate between Architects, Consultants and Local Contractors
● Ensure quality implementation of plans throughout the project development
● Consistent reporting on project progress to respond to upcoming problems early and effectively
