JOB TITLE : Carpenter
DIVISION : ENGINEERING
DEPARTMENT : ENGINEERING
REPORT TO : Duty Engineer/ Supervisor

GENERAL MISSION:

Basic Function:
To assist in the day to day running of the Engineering Department ensuring building, mason, carpentry, wall vinyl, furniture & painting decoration works meet standard as well as company policies and procedures are followed whilst maintaining a high degree of guests and staff satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Have up to date knowledge of all hotel services and functions at all time
• Develop knowledge of hotels & resorts structure, fixtures, fittings and plant.
• Understand the hotels & resorts Fire and Safety procedures
• Understand repair structures and fixtures of wood plywood, and wallboard.
• Have knowledge to use carpenter and painter hand tools and power tools.
• Complete any reasonable request made by Management which is not life threatening or against the law.
• Management reserves the right to change or amend this job description at its sole discretion and with out advance notice or employee approval.
