Role & Responsibility
Junior accountant is an entry-level position responsible for supporting financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Record Keeping: Junior accountants are responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, which includes posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded properly.
- Accounts Management: They manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.
- Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports is a crucial part of their role, which helps in tracking the financial health of the organization.
- Reconciliation: Junior accountants perform reconciliations of bank statements and ledgers to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Payroll Processing: They may also be involved in calculating payroll taxes and preparing payroll payments
