KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership: Train, supervise, and delegate tasks to inventory staff.
Inventory Control: Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory levels using software.
Auditing: Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventory checks, and reconcile records.
Operations: Oversee receiving, storage, and material handling to minimize damages.
Reporting: Generate reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and usage to management.
Compliance: Implement safety and loss prevention procedures. •Represent Regional and/or Global inventory initiatives
•Sponsor continuous improvement projects
•Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and update or author as necessary
•Maintain accurate perpetual inventory records through the administration of the cycle count process
•Coordinate with production to ensure the timely flow of materials support the production schedule
•Ensure conformance to GMP and safety regulations in all warehouse facilities
•Support and maintains assigned NC’s, action plans, CAPA action
•Ensure materials and parts are available to maintain smooth operation for repairs and preventative maintenance
•Control the distribution plant such that it complies with company policy
•When excess inventory lists are generated from operations, provide the required feedback on disposition •Set and review inventory entitlement parameters
•Execute processes to identify best segmentation business strategies/methods by setting up the supply chain in different ways
•Determine if an existing rule or policy needs to be modified
•Apply/test policy once modification is complete, measure compliance, and enforce policy
•Provide inventory management input into S&OP process & control tower meetings to allow for transparency of risks and opportunities
•Align SC & financial reporting & commentary supporting S&OP and business reporting

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS

•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management logistics or related field (preferred).
•Inventory control experience in a distribution center, preferably a third party operation
•ISO 9000+ related experience preferred
•Inventory Management, Materials or Manufacturing Background
•Ability to work Horizontally and Vertically in the Organization
•Drive to be Successful and make Significant Contributions
•Experience with Multiple Replenishment Processes (MTS, MTO, KB, VMI, etc)
•Inventory Management Experience in respect to cycle counting, reporting, variance analysis
•Familiar with Root cause analysis
•Experience with problem identification, collaborative solution generation
•Process thinker able to dissect processes-their inputs and outputs
•Knowledge of lean tools such as 5S, 8 wastes and Kaizen is preferred
•WMS Knowledge in preferred
