Job Description: As a Kitchen Assistant 1 at Epicure, you will support the kitchen team in the daily preparation of mise en place, basic dish preparation, and the organization of your assigned station. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, following recipes and standards set by the chef, keeping your work area clean and organized, and respecting service times. You will collaborate closely with the rest of the team to ensure the quality and presentation of each dish. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Phuket.

Requirements:

Food preparation skills and basic cooking techniques, including cutting, mise en place, and assisting in dish preparation.

Excellent culinary skills, a strong interest in learning new techniques, and the ability to follow recipes and company standards.

Knowledge of food hygiene and safety, as well as meticulous attention to the cleanliness and disinfection of the work area and utensils.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with the rest of the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.

Cooking or restaurant training (preferred), proactive attitude, ability to work under pressure, and flexible availability.
