ABOUT UWC THAILAND
UWC Thailand International School is a non-profit, co-educational international school located on the beautiful island of Phuket, Thailand. As a member of the United World Colleges (UWC) movement, we share a commitment to making education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.

We offer a holistic International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum education from Early Years through to grade 12, including the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). Our community brings together day and boarding students, families and educators from around the world, creating a vibrant, culturally diverse environment where different perspectives and experiences enrich daily life.

OUR APPROACH TO EDUCATION
Guided by our school motto, “Good Heart, Balanced Mind, Healthy Body”, we believe education should develop the whole person.

Academic learning is complemented by social-emotional learning and mindfulness, service, outdoor experiential education, sports and the arts. These are integral to our educational philosophy, encouraging students to develop compassion, resilience, curiosity, independence and a sense of responsibility towards others and the world around them.

Since joining the UWC movement in 2016, we have continued to strengthen our commitment to experiential learning, deliberate diversity, intercultural understanding and meaningful service.
