**About the role
PhuketFit is hiring a Marketing Assistant to help tell our story to guests from Australia, the UK, the USA, India, the Gulf and across Asia — and to the Thai market on our doorstep.

For more than a decade, PhuketFit has been Thailand's Premier Health & Fitness Retreat: the original health and fitness retreat in Phuket, since 2012. Everything happens under one roof in Rawai, between Rawai Pier, Ya Nui Beach and Promthep Cape — accommodation, training, dining, recovery and education, all 100% operated in-house. Our goal is to help our guests achieve theirs, and our marketing team makes sure the right people hear about it.

**Key responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Marketing & Content Manager, you will support the team across content, design, digital channels and day-to-day marketing administration. You will:

- Content and social media

Assist with planning, creating and scheduling posts for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile, in line with the monthly content calendar set by the content manager.
Keep up with social media trends and help create trending, shareable short-form videos that grow reach, views and video impressions.
Follow the creative direction from the content manager to capture photos and short-form video around the retreat — training sessions, Muay Thai, beach bootcamp, the restaurant, recovery and guest milestones.
Support with writing and translating captions and short copy in Thai and English, keeping to the PhuketFit brand voice.
Help collect guest stories and testimonials (with written consent) for content that celebrates our community.

- Design

Follow the creative direction from the content manager to produce on-brand graphics, social posts, flyers, posters, menus and printed materials using Adobe Express, Canva, Photoshop or Illustrator.
Assist with updating and maintaining marketing materials for both traditional print and digital use — brochures, signage, menus, rate cards, presentations and web assets.
Apply the PhuketFit visual identity — colours, fonts and logo rules — on every asset.
Support with resizing and adapting creative for different platforms, ads and print formats.

- Digital marketing and website

Assist with updating website content, blog posts and landing pages on www.phuketfit.com (WordPress).
Support with Google Ads, Meta Ads and email campaigns — preparing creative, checking links and monitoring results.
Help track performance in Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and platform insights, and prepare simple weekly and monthly reports for the content manager.
Contribute new, creative campaign and content ideas based on marketing data and current health, fitness and travel industry trends, for review by the content manager.
Support with SEO tasks: keyword research, on-page updates, Google Business Profile posts and listing accuracy.

- Community, reviews and partners

Assist with monitoring comments, messages and Google and TripAdvisor reviews, drafting responses for approval and passing guest issues to the right department.
Support with coordinating influencers, content creators, photographers and local partners for shoots and collaborations on-site.
Assist with Thai-market outreach — local media, Thai-language listings and partnerships.

- Coordination and administration

Work with the fitness, restaurant, front office and HR teams to gather content and keep promotions accurate.
Use AI tools confidently and responsibly for research and for carrying out tasks — drafting copy, translating, generating ideas and speeding up design and reporting work — always checking outputs for accuracy and brand voice.
Help keep the marketing asset library (photos, videos, templates) organised and up to date.
Assist with marketing budgets, supplier quotes and purchasing requests for marketing materials.
Take on other reasonable marketing tasks assigned by the Marketing & Content Manager.

**Qualifications and skills

- Required

Thai national preferred; also open to foreign applicants holding a valid Non-B visa and Thai work permit.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication Arts, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Business Administration or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
1–2 years' experience in marketing, content creation or design. New graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
Native Thai with good written and spoken English.
Working knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Express, Canva, Photoshop or Illustrator.
Confident with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile, including basic photo and video editing (e.g. CapCut, Lightroom, Premiere Rush).
Ability to take clear notes and interpret project details accurately, from conception through to execution.
Ability to collaborate across multiple departments — fitness, restaurant, front office, HR and management — for a wide range of content and marketing purposes.
Organised, detail-focused and able to manage several deadlines at once.
Friendly and comfortable working alongside guests from many countries.

- Advantageous

Google certifications — Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4) or the Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce Certificate.
Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate or similar.
Experience with WordPress, SEO or email platforms such as Mailchimp.
Experience in hospitality, tourism, fitness or wellness marketing.
A personal interest in health, fitness and nutrition.
