CHIEF STEWARD – YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Stewarding operations, with at least 1–2 years in a Chief Steward, Assistant Chief Steward, or similar leadership role in an international hotel or resort.

• Strong knowledge of stewarding operations, kitchen hygiene, sanitation, food safety, HACCP, and chemical handling standards.

• Good knowledge of dishwashing systems, kitchen equipment, operating equipment (OE), inventory control, breakage control, and waste management.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to plan manpower, prepare rosters, train, coach, and motivate the Stewarding team.

• Able to coordinate effectively with Culinary, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Purchasing, and other departments to support smooth hotel operations.

• Good understanding of cost control, chemical consumption, equipment maintenance, and departmental budgeting.

• Pre-opening experience is an advantage, including kitchen setup, equipment preparation, OS&E organization, deep cleaning, and operational readiness.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, organized, and safety-focused approach.

• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and operational efficiency in line with Accor standards.
