Position: Accounts Receivable (AR) Officer
Department: Finance & Accounting
Reports to: Accounting Manager / Finance Manager
Job Responsibilities
Prepare, issue, and verify accounts receivable documents including invoices, receipts, and other billing-related documents.
Record and maintain accurate accounts receivable transactions in the accounting system in a timely manner.
Monitor, control, and follow up on customer payments in accordance with agreed payment terms.
Prepare Accounts Receivable Aging Reports and outstanding receivable reports for management review.
Coordinate with sales, operations, and customers regarding billing inquiries, payment issues, and discrepancies.
Verify payment accuracy by reconciling received payments with invoices and bank statements.
Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of AR records for audit and internal control purposes.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
At least 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or accounting-related roles.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and relevant taxation.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of responsibility.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Skills
Experience in preparing AR Aging reports and debt collection follow-ups.
Experience working closely with sales or operations teams.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
