Core Responsibilities

Safety & Loss Prevention: Ensuring the physical safety of guests, staff, and the property. This includes protecting high-value medical/wellness assets and maintaining the privacy of high-profile clientele.

Team Leadership: Managing and training security personnel, overseeing shift schedules, and ensuring the team maintains the high standards of service and discretion expected at a luxury wellness resort.

Emergency Response: Developing, updating, and executing crisis management plans (fire, medical emergencies, weather-related incidents, or security breaches).

Surveillance & Access Control: Overseeing the monitoring of CCTV systems, managing visitor/guest access to restricted areas, and ensuring all physical security infrastructure (locks, alarms) is functional.

Liaison: Serving as the primary contact for local law enforcement, emergency services, and local authorities to ensure compliance with Thai safety and health regulations.

Reporting & Audits: Conducting regular security audits, risk assessments, and maintaining detailed incident reports to proactively address vulnerabilities.

Typical Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Usually 3–5 years in a security management role, specifically within 5-star hospitality, luxury resorts, or clinical environments.

Certifications: Often requires knowledge of or certification in fire safety, first aid, and basic health and safety laws (อาชีวอนามัย).

Language Skills: High proficiency in both English and Thai is standard for managing local staff while communicating with international management or guests.

Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, the capacity to remain calm under pressure (essential for an "emotionally charged" environment), and a high level of integrity and discretion.
