We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Learning & Development Manager to lead all training and development initiatives across four hotel properties in Phuket under internationally recognized brands including Radisson and IHG.
The ideal candidate will drive employee capability building, leadership development, brand service culture, compliance training, and performance improvement programs while ensuring alignment with each brand’s standards and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development Strategy
Develop and implement annual L&D strategies and training calendars across all hotel properties.
Identify training needs through performance reviews, operational audits, guest feedback, and departmental consultations.
Ensure all learning initiatives align with Radisson and IHG brand standards.
Training Delivery & Facilitation
Conduct onboarding, orientation, leadership training, service excellence programs, and soft skills workshops.
Facilitate departmental and cross-functional training sessions.
Organize train-the-trainer programs and strengthen internal training culture.
Leadership & Talent Development
Support succession planning and high-potential employee development.
Partner with Department Heads and General Managers to enhance team performance and engagement.
Coach managers on employee development and performance management practices.
Brand & Compliance Training
Ensure all mandatory brand, health & safety, and compliance training requirements are completed.
Maintain accurate training records, reports, and certifications.
Support hotel audits and brand inspections related to training compliance.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and company culture across all properties.
Support employer branding initiatives and internal communication programs.
Performance & Reporting
Monitor training effectiveness through KPIs, feedback, and operational performance metrics.
Prepare monthly L&D reports and training analytics for management review.
Manage training budgets and learning resources effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Education, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development within hospitality or hotel operations.
Experience working with international hotel brands such as Radisson, IHG, Marriott, Hilton, or Accor is highly preferred.
Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Preferred Competencies
Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards.
Leadership development and coaching capability.
High level of creativity and initiative in learning engagement.
Ability to manage multiple properties and stakeholders simultaneously.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
