Role Overview
Lead and coordinate day-to-day accounting operations while supporting the Financial Controller in financial management, timely period-end closings, cash flow optimization, and external audit governance. This position supervises accounting personnel, enforces internal controls, maintains balance sheet integrity, and ensures accurate financial reporting across resort operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing: Supervise month-end closing cycles, verify general ledger balances, and review preliminary Profit & Loss (P&L) statements before submitting to the Financial Controller. Ensure all statutory financial statements and statistical reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Balance Sheet Integrity & Audits: Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, investigate problem accounts, and complete monthly account sign-offs for final approval by executive finance leadership. Manage internal/external audit workflows and prepare management responses.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Monitor daily cash balances, review credit card settlements, optimize working capital cycles, and coordinate vendor disbursements in line with payment deferral and cash flow standards. Supervise monthly bank reconciliations and manage Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• Budgeting & Financial Planning: Facilitate the annual operating budget process, implement localized budget modeling forms, schedule cross-departmental budget meetings, and engage department managers to ensure alignment.
• Payroll & Administrative Controls: Review management and non-management payroll runs for precision, monitor personnel action reviews prior to cutoff dates, and maintain localized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Team Leadership & Culture: Direct, train, and mentor accounting team members to foster a high-performance environment. Conduct regular departmental briefings, monitor shift schedules, and uphold brand grooming, personal hygiene, and safety protocols.


Candidate Profile & Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in the hospitality sector, with proven supervisory or assistant accounting management experience in an upscale hotel or resort environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep command of hotel accounting practices (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, P&L, balance sheet, and payroll audits).
• Systems Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of hotel Property Management Systems(PMS), Comanche and back-office accounting platforms, along with advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai to liaise effectively with cross-functional leadership and executive management.
• Leadership & Attributes: Sound analytical ability, strong attention to detail, high emotional intelligence, and readiness to advance along an executive career path toward Financial Controller.
