DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Performs a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
- Ensures all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
- Protects equipment and makes sure there are no inadequacies.
- Notifies superiors of any damages, deficits and disturbances.
- Deals with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Checks stocking levels of all consumables and replaces them when appropriate.
- Adheres strictly to rules regarding health and safety and is aware of any company-related practices.
- Refills amenities in guest rooms.
- Sets up guest rooms according to company standards and procedures.
- Reports any damages or repairs to be made in guest rooms to the Maintenance Department.

REQUIREMENTS

- High school degree
- Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritisation and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Successful Pre-opening experience & records a distinct advantage
- Basic communication skills in both English and Thai
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision or cohesively as a team
- Ability to be a clear thinker, analyse and resolve problems exercise good judgment
- Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult situations
- Ability to work flexible hours, covering evenings, weekends and holiday periods
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Supports other departments as needed and takes on other assignments
- The person has to bring a hands-on approach
