We are developing an AI-powered system to automate the migration of legacy code (Progress 4GL) from older versions to newer ones. Our system is currently functional at a foundational level, and we're looking for an AI Developer to join our team to enhance system accuracy and support increasingly complex use cases.

Responsibilities

Develop and improve AI models/agents for automated code analysis and transformation

Design and implement prompt engineering strategies to optimize LLM performance

Fine-tune models to accurately understand code patterns and domain-specific syntax

Create training datasets and test cases to evaluate and improve AI performance

Build RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines for code context management

Design and develop automated validation and testing frameworks

Research and experiment with new techniques such as multi-agent systems and chain-of-thought reasoning

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in AI development and Prompt engineering

Hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (GPT, Claude, Llama, etc.)

Strong proficiency in Python and related libraries (LangChain, Transformers, etc.)

Proven experience developing real-world AI applications

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI-powered code generation or code analysis

Experience fine-tuning Large Language Models

Understanding of software development principles and code structure

Experience building RAG systems

Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, etc.)

Fluent English skills as well as strong communication skills are a must.

Previous work on legacy code migration or code transformation projects.
