Position : Irrigation Technician
To support the irrigation team by performing maintenance, repair, and installation of parts to the system, ensuring efficient water distribution and coverage across the golf course.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Irrigation Supervisor with daily maintenance and repair of irrigation system.
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation components including pumps, valves, decoders and sprinkler heads.
• Install new irrigation systems as needed for newly developed or expanded areas on the golf course.
• Monitor and adjust irrigation schedules as per instructed by Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and report issues promptly.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth integration of irrigation on landscape and golf course areas.
• Comply with safety standards and procedures during all work activities.
Qualifications:
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in electrical work or irrigation maintenance preferred
• Basic computer skills to operate irrigation control software and reporting tools
• Willingness and physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new irrigation technologies
