Position Summary

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for leading and managing all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction in line with Dusit brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and laundry

Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance standards meet brand and guest expectations

Plan and manage manpower, duty rosters, and productivity

Control departmental costs, including labor, cleaning supplies, linen, and amenities

Conduct regular inspections and follow up on guest feedback and service recovery

Develop and enforce SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards

Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments

Train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping team members

Prepare for audits, health inspections, and corporate compliance reviews

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 5–8 years of housekeeping experience in a 4–5 star hotel, with leadership responsibility

Strong people management and organizational skills

Good knowledge of housekeeping operations, hygiene standards, and cost control

Strong attention to detail and service mindset

Proficient in English communication (additional languages are an advantage)

Computer literate (PMS, housekeeping systems, MS Office)
